Children's SW - CIN/CP Team - London Borough of Croydon
The London Borough of Croydon is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Need (CIN) and Child Protection (CP) Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.

- Maintaining accurate and timely case records in accordance with statutory guidelines.
- Participating in court proceedings and providing expert testimony as required.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in child protection and safeguarding, ideally within a local authority setting.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
