We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Lancashire Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Child & Youth Justice Service team. This position offers a competitive rate of £36 per hour and provides the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and youth.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of children and young people involved in the justice system
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support their well-being and rehabilitation
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, including social workers, law enforcement, and healthcare providers
  • Advocating for the rights and best interests of the children and youth under your care
  • Providing crisis intervention and support to address immediate safety concerns

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker (QSW) status with relevant certification
  • Experience working in child and youth justice services or a similar field
  • Strong understanding of child protection policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
