We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Conwy MASH Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing complex cases involving children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and needs
  • Developing and implementing care plans to safeguard children and promote their welfare
  • Conducting child protection investigations and making decisions regarding child protection concerns
  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to provide holistic support to families
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

  • A recognized social work qualification and registration with Social Care Wales
  • Demonstrated experience working in a MASH or child protection setting
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child safeguarding
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills to make informed decisions under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals
