We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Family Help team within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) in Liverpool. This role offers a competitive rate of £37.99 per hour (umbrella) and presents an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a key member of the MASH, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and their families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing support plans for families in need.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to gather information and provide a coordinated response to safeguarding concerns.
  • Providing timely and effective interventions to support families in crisis.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and colleagues.
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
