MASH Social Worker - Nottinghamshire

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH Social Worker to join our team in Nottinghamshire. As a MASH Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in need of support. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families referred to the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to gather and share information to inform decision-making
  • Developing and implementing care plans to address the needs and risks identified during assessments
  • Participating in strategy discussions and multi-agency meetings to coordinate interventions and support services
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies on complex cases

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience working in a MASH or similar safeguarding environment
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child protection
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals
