Children's SSW - MASH Team - Southwark

As a Children’s SSW in the MASH team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and investigations in response to safeguarding concerns.
- Collaborating with health, education, and police services to gather information and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in case conferences and contributing to multi-agency decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to best practice.
