Join our dedicated team as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Southwark. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify strengths, needs, and risks.
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans in partnership with families and other professionals.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to children with disabilities and their families, ensuring their voices are heard.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of support services, making necessary adjustments to care plans.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience working within children's services, particularly with children with disabilities.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and other professionals.
