We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Connected Care Team in Stockport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of children and families and developing care plans
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Undertaking direct work with children and families, including home visits and assessments
  • Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required
  • Providing support and guidance to children in care and care leavers

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Experience working within children's services, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
