We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Future Directions (Care Leaving Service) Team Manager to join our team in Barnsley. As the Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to young adults transitioning out of the care system, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to lead independent and fulfilling lives.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Manage and lead a team of social workers and support staff to deliver high-quality services to care leavers.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each young adult.
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and resources for care leavers.
  • Provide coaching and supervision to team members to enhance their professional development and ensure best practice.

Essential qualifications and skills:
