We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Cheshire West - SSW - Connected Peoples Team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and safeguarding vulnerable individuals and families within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families in need of support
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for service users
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to promote positive change and resilience
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews as required
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in working with children, young people, and families in a social work setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
