We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Fostering Service team at Hull City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and guidance to foster carers and children in our care.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assessing and approving foster carers through thorough assessments and home visits
  • Providing ongoing support and supervision to foster carers to ensure the well-being and safety of children in placement
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to meet the needs of children in care
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for the best interests of children
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Experience in working within a fostering service or similar child welfare setting
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
