We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Support team in BANES. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing professional social work services to families in need within the community.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Assessing the needs of families and developing appropriate support plans
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure comprehensive care for families
  • Providing direct support and guidance to families facing challenges such as domestic violence, substance abuse, or child protection concerns
  • Advocating for the rights and best interests of children and families within the legal framework
  • Completing thorough and accurate case documentation and reports

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker (QSW) with a recognized social work qualification
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Demonstrated experience in working with families in a social work setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
