Wokingham - QSW - Referral & Assessment Team
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Referral & Assessment Team in Wokingham. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting timely and thorough assessments of children and families in need, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Undertaking initial assessments and making decisions on the most appropriate course of action
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Providing support and guidance to families, advocating on their behalf when necessary
- Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations for ongoing support
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with current HCPC registration
- Proven experience in conducting assessments and working within a child protection framework
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
