We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Front Door team in Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective support to individuals and families in need of social care services.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Assessing the needs of service users and developing care plans
  • Conducting risk assessments and safeguarding vulnerable individuals
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes
  • Liaising with partner agencies and professionals to coordinate services
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure effective interventions

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience in front-line social work, preferably within a Front Door team
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make evidence-based decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with service users and stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload

In addition to the above requirements, candidates with experience in child protection, mental health, or substance misuse will be highly regarded.
