Children's SW - CIN/CP/CIC Team - Lincolnshire
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - CIN (Children in Need), CP (Child Protection), and CIC (Children in Care) Team in Lincolnshire. Key responsibilities and duties of this role include:
- Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
- Advocating for children’s rights and ensuring their voices are heard in decision-making processes.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience in children’s social work, particularly in CIN, CP, and CIC settings.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in complex situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in child protection.
