As the Deputy Team Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the management of the safeguarding team, providing guidance and support to social workers.
- Overseeing case management and ensuring adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Conducting regular supervision and performance reviews of team members.
- Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of safeguarding strategies and initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
