We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Family Support & Protection team in Tower Hamlets. As a Qualified Social Worker in this position, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of families in need of support and protection.
  • Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans to promote family stability and child welfare.
  • Collaborating closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to safeguarding.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, empowering them to make positive changes.
  • Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to enhance practice and share knowledge.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in child protection and family support settings.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with families and professionals.
