Solihull - Sr. QSW - MASH Team (Part Time)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Qualified Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Solihull on a part-time basis. This role is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable children and families within our community. You will be working collaboratively with various agencies to assess and address safeguarding concerns while providing high-quality social work services.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
- Collaborating with partner agencies to develop and implement safeguarding plans.
- Providing expert guidance and mentorship to junior social workers and support staff.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in child protection or safeguarding.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
