We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our Reading MASH (Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub) team. As a Qualified Social Worker in the MASH team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and managing risk for children and families in need of support.
  • Conducting thorough assessments and developing appropriate plans of action.
  • Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience working within a MASH or similar safeguarding environment.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and external partners.
