We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MASH Senior Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join our dynamic team in Suffolk, offering a competitive rate of £42.50 per hour. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in need. You will work collaboratively within a Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) to assess risk and ensure effective intervention strategies are implemented.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
- Collaborating with partner agencies to share information and ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to junior staff and other professionals within the MASH.
- Managing a complex caseload, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Preparing reports and documentation for court proceedings and child protection conferences.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong analytical and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
