As an Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support.
- Developing and implementing effective safeguarding plans in collaboration with multi-agency partners.
- Providing expert supervision and support to junior social workers and trainees.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Engaging with families to promote positive outcomes and empower them through challenges.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience in child protection, assessment, and safeguarding.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
