As an Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert guidance and support to social work colleagues within the Leaving Care Team.
- Carrying out assessments and developing tailored care plans for young people aged 16-25.
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices in social work.
- Facilitating multi-agency collaboration to enhance service delivery and outcomes for young people.
- Mentoring and supervising less experienced social workers and students.
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in social work, specifically within a Leaving Care or Children’s Services context.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for empowering young people.
