We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Assessment & Intervention Team in Slough. As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and multi-agency partners.
  • Providing supervision and support to junior staff and students, fostering their professional development.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, CQSW).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
