We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - CIC Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention to children and families in need.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Undertaking assessments to identify the needs of children and families
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with other professionals
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and families to promote their well-being
- Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and ensure the safety of children
- Working closely with partner agencies and stakeholders to coordinate services and support
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognized social work qualification
- Registered with Social Work England
- Experience working within Children in Care (CIC) teams
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload
