We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Children & Families Team in Gloucestershire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families
  • Developing and implementing care plans to support the well-being and safety of children
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multi-agency meetings
  • Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive change and resilience

The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in working within Children's Social Care, preferably within a Child Protection or Looked After Children setting
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to effectively identify risks and needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and professionals
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Additional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
