We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Senior Social Worker to join our Children In Care (CIC) Team in Newcastle. As a crucial member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children in care.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Undertaking assessments and formulating care plans for children in care
- Participating in case conferences and reviews to ensure the best outcomes for children
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to provide holistic support
- Advocating for the rights and needs of children in care
- Providing direct support and guidance to children and families in challenging situations
The essential qualifications and skills for this role include:
- Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration
- Experience working within Children's Services, particularly in a CIC setting
