We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced CIC/LAC - QSW to join our team in Bradford. As a Qualified Social Worker in this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting children in care and care leavers, ensuring their well-being and promoting positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Undertake assessments and create care plans for children and young people in care
- Provide direct support and intervention to children, young people, and their families
- Work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
- Participate in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required
- Advocate for the rights and needs of children in care, ensuring their voices are heard
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration and experience in children's services
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make informed decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
