Children's SW - CP Team - Nottingham
Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Nottingham, where you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. As a Qualified Social Worker in our Child Protection Team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring that interventions are effective and in the best interest of the child.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records of casework and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Providing support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions.
The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working within a Children’s Social Work setting, particularly in child protection.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
