Children's SW - Kinship Team - Northamptonshire
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Kinship Team in Northamptonshire. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and services to children and families within the kinship care system.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Assessing the needs of children and families in kinship care placements
- Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to kinship carers
- Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to coordinate services for families
- Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification and HCPC registration
- Experience working in children's services, particularly within the kinship care system
- Strong assessment and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
