We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - CIC Team in Southampton. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks, developing and implementing care plans.
- Working collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure appropriate support and interventions are in place.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies.
- Providing support and guidance to foster carers and residential staff to enhance the care provided to children.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children and families, particularly within a looked-after children context.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
