Cheshire West and Chester is seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Children in Care (CIC) Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.

- Attending court hearings and presenting evidence as required.
- Engaging with children and families to provide support and guidance throughout the care process.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within children’s services, particularly with children in care.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with families.
