We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join the Children in Care team in Cheshire West. As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.

  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience working with children in care or similar settings.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
