We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner to join the Family Help Team in Herefordshire. As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for a range of key duties that are essential to the effective functioning of the Family Help Team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing a complex caseload and providing high-quality assessments and interventions for children and families.
- Supervising and mentoring junior staff, offering guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
- Collaborating with partner agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Conducting regular reviews and evaluations of care plans, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and best practices.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to service development initiatives.
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant post-qualification experience in child protection and family support.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and colleagues.
