Children's SW - Locality Team - Doncaster
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker to join our Locality Team in Doncaster. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans tailored to the needs of children and families.
- Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure effective service delivery and safeguarding practices.
- Managing a caseload of children and families, providing ongoing support and intervention.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with local authority policies and procedures.
- Participating in court proceedings and contributing to legal processes as required.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in a locality team setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Sound knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding practices.
