Team Manager - CP - Cheshire East
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Manager to join our Children’s Services team in Cheshire East. As a Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of qualified social workers to ensure the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for social work, and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and managing a team of social workers, providing supervision, support, and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Overseeing case management, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
- Developing and implementing effective strategies for service improvement and team development.
- Collaborating with other agencies and stakeholders to promote integrated service delivery.
- Managing performance, conducting regular reviews, and facilitating professional development opportunities for team members.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Significant post-qualifying experience in children’s social work.
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a social work setting.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to child protection and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
