Cheshire West and Chester is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Child in Care (CIC) Team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality support and intervention for children and young people in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Providing direct support and intervention to children and young people in care, ensuring their voices are heard.
- Maintaining accurate and timely case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognised social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in children's social work, particularly within a CIC context.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
