An experienced Children’s Social Worker is required to join a Care and Support Team, providing high-quality support to children, young people and their families. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by promoting children’s safety, wellbeing and long-term outcomes through effective assessment, planning and intervention.
You will manage a varied caseload involving children and young people who may require support under relevant safeguarding and social care legislation. Your responsibilities will include undertaking assessments, preparing and reviewing care and support plans, contributing to child protection enquiries and conferences, and making informed decisions that place the child’s needs at the centre of practice.

You will need strong communication, organisation and analytical skills, with the confidence to manage complex situations and make balanced, evidence-based decisions. A child-centred, respectful and solution-focused approach is essential, as is the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team.
