Children's SW - CP / CIN Team - Lincolnshire

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Child Protection / Children in Need Team in Lincolnshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and families in the area.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and creating care plans for children at risk of harm or in need of support
  • Working collaboratively with families, partner agencies, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and reviews to advocate for children's needs
  • Providing direct support and intervention to children and families in crisis situations
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant degree and HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated experience in child protection and working with children in need
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize workload
  • Strong commitment to promoting the rights and well-being of children

Additional requirements for this role include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the region.
