We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Bradford - AP - Children and Families Team - Qualified Social Worker to join our team on a contract basis, offering a competitive rate of £37 per hour. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting children and families in need within the Bradford area.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Assessing the needs of children and families to develop and implement effective care plans
- Providing direct support and intervention to safeguard and promote the welfare of children
- Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children and families
- Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court proceedings as required
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent)
- Registered with Social Work England
- Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in a social work setting
- Strong assessment and analytical skills with the ability to make sound judgments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
