We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Lewisham. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for children and families
  • Providing direct support and intervention services to children and families
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Participating in case conferences, court proceedings, and multidisciplinary meetings
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date records of all interventions and interactions

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
