Children's SW - MASH Team - Conwy
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Conwy. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people within our community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various agencies to assess and respond to safeguarding concerns, providing support to families in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments of children and their families to identify needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.
- Providing advice and support to colleagues and partner organizations regarding safeguarding issues.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Care Wales.
- Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in a safeguarding context.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
