As a member of our Assessment & Intervention Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they are engaged in the process.

To be considered for this position, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Care Wales. Essential skills include:

  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
