We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Wrexham - ATM - Looked After Children team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to Looked After Children and their families.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and creating care plans for Looked After Children
  • Direct work with children and young people to promote their well-being and development
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required
  • Contributing to the overall improvement of services for Looked After Children

Essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience working with Looked After Children and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills
