Lewisham - Independent Reviewing Officer

As an Independent Reviewing Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular reviews of care plans for children in care to ensure they are meeting individual needs.

- Providing professional oversight and challenge to ensure that the voice of the child is central to all decisions.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of care placements and making recommendations for changes where necessary.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant experience in child protection and working with children in care.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively.
