We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Lambeth. This vital role involves working collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to assess and respond to the needs of vulnerable individuals within our community. As a Senior Social Worker, you will lead assessments, manage complex cases, and provide guidance to junior staff, ensuring the highest standards of practice are maintained.

Your key responsibilities will include:

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A social work degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in children and families’ social work, particularly in assessment.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse communities.
