Senior Social worker- Children and Young people Team-Lewisham

As a Senior Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with children, young people, and their families.
- Providing expert guidance and support to less experienced social workers and team members.
- Representing the team in multi-agency meetings and court proceedings.
- Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with statutory requirements and local policies.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Substantial experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and intervention.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and reporting.
