Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans that meet the diverse needs of children and families.
- Working closely with families to provide support, guidance, and interventions aimed at improving family dynamics.
- Collaborating with other agencies and professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to safeguarding children.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with legislation and local policies.
- Participating in multi-disciplinary meetings and contributing to case reviews.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
