Join our dedicated Early Help Team in Liverpool as a Children’s Social Worker! We are seeking a passionate and skilled professional to support children and families in need, ensuring their well-being and development. As a vital member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to provide early intervention services that prevent the escalation of issues within families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with families.
  • Collaborating with schools, health services, and community organizations to deliver comprehensive support.
  • Monitoring progress and adjusting interventions as necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with statutory and local requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in early help or preventative services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and manage a diverse caseload.
