We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in Devon. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments and providing support to children and families in need.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments to determine the needs and risks of children and families.
  • Developing and implementing care plans to ensure the well-being and safety of children.
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and educators, to provide holistic support.
  • Participating in case conferences and court hearings to advocate for the best interests of children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and interventions.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting assessments and working with children and families in a social work setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a demanding caseload while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Additional requirements for this role may include a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel within the community.
