Children's SW - Family Help Team - Luton
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our Family Help Team in Luton. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and intervention services to children and families in need, with a focus on safeguarding and promoting their well-being.
Key responsibilities and duties:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for children and families
- Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for clients
- Providing direct support and guidance to families facing challenges and crises
- Participating in case conferences and court hearings as needed
- Advocating for the rights and needs of children and families within the community
Essential qualifications and skills:
- Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
- Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work setting
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to child protection and welfare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
